HOW THIS POLICY WORKS

This Privacy Policy covers two distinct data controllers operating in connection with this website:

  1. Sofa IT d.o.o. ("Sofascore") – owner and technical operator of this website and the Sofascore brand; and
  2. GRAFITI BECKER d.o.o. ("Seller") – the exclusive merchant of record responsible for all product sales on this website.

Each party is an independent data controller in respect of the personal data it processes, as described in the relevant sections below. Where a matter concerns both parties, this is indicated.

This website is powered by Shopify. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

PART A – SOFASCORE AS PLATFORM OPERATOR

This Part A applies to personal data processed by Sofa IT d.o.o. in its capacity as owner and technical operator of this website.

A.1 – PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT OR PROCESS

Account authentication is handled exclusively by Shopify's infrastructure via a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered email address.
  • Contact details – name, email address, phone number, and billing/shipping address, where provided.
  • Transaction information – order history, transaction amounts, and payment method type (excluding payment card details, which are not accessible to Sofascore).
  • Device information – information about your device, browser or network connection, IP address, and other unique identifiers.
  • Usage information – information regarding your interaction with the Services, including how and when you interact with or navigate the website.
  • Communications – information you include in communications directed to Sofascore, for example platform-related support inquiries.

Please note: financial information including payment card details is processed exclusively by Shopify's payment infrastructure and, if applicable, the Seller's payment providers. Sofascore does not collect or store your payment card data.

 

A.2 – HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may collect personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you – when you visit or use the Services, create an account, make a purchase as a guest, or communicate with us.
  • Automatically – from your device through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Services (see our Cookie Policy).
  • From Shopify – in connection with the hosting and technical operation of the platform.
  • From service providers – when we engage them to enable certain technology on our behalf.

 

A.3 – HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • Operating the platform – to provide and maintain the website, manage your account where applicable, ensure technical functionality, and send notifications related to your use of the platform.

  • With Shopify – as platform infrastructure provider; see Section on Shopify below.
  • With service providers – vendors performing services on our behalf, such as IT management and cloud storage, subject to appropriate data processing agreements, if applicable.
  • With the Seller – where necessary to enable the Seller to fulfil orders and provide customer support, in which capacity Sofascore acts as a data processor on the Seller's behalf.
  • For legal reasons – to comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.
  • In connection with a business transaction – such as a merger or acquisition, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

 

A.6 – YOUR RIGHTS (PLATFORM)

In relation to personal data processed by Sofascore as platform operator, you may exercise the following rights where applicable:

  • Right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and data portability.
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

PART B – SELLER (GRAFITI BECKER) AS MERCHANT OF RECORD

This Part B applies to personal data processed by GRAFITI BECKER d.o.o. in its capacity as the exclusive merchant of record responsible for all sales transactions on this website.

B.1 – PERSONAL INFORMATION THE SELLER COLLECTS OR PROCESSES

The Seller collects and processes the following categories of personal data in connection with sales transactions:

  • Contact and identification details – name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
  • Financial information – payment method details processed via secure payment infrastructure; the Seller does not store full payment card numbers.
  • Transaction information – items purchased, order history, returns, exchanges, and cancellations, whether placed as a registered user or as a guest.
  • Communications – information included in communications with the Seller, including customer support inquiries, complaints, and warranty claims.

 

B.2 – HOW THE SELLER COLLECTS PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Seller collects personal data:

  • Directly from you – when you place an order (as a registered user or guest) or contact the Seller for support.
  • Through the platform – via the Shopify-powered checkout process operated on this website.
  • From service providers – including logistics, delivery, and payment processing partners engaged by the Seller.

 

B.3 – HOW THE SELLER USES YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Seller uses your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Order fulfilment – to process and fulfil your purchase, arrange shipping and delivery, and issue invoices and receipts.
  • Guest checkout – where you purchase as a guest, we process your contact and delivery details solely to fulfil your order without creating a permanent account.

B.5 – HOW THE SELLER DISCLOSES PERSONAL INFORMATION

The Seller may disclose your personal data to:

  • Logistics and delivery providers – to arrange shipping and delivery of your order.
  • Payment processors – payments are processed exclusively through Shopify's payment infrastructure and Shopify-supported payment providers. The Seller does not store or access your payment card details or bank account information.
  • IT and platform service providers – including Shopify and Sofascore (as platform operator), for order management and platform functionality.

The Seller does not sell your personal information to third parties.

 

B.6 – RETENTION

The Seller retains your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, including for the duration of any statutory retention obligations under Croatian and EU law (e.g. accounting records: 11 years; consumer transaction records: as required by applicable law). When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

 

B.7 – YOUR RIGHTS (PURCHASES)

In relation to personal data processed by the Seller as merchant of record, you may exercise the following rights where applicable:

  • Right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and data portability.

The following sections apply to both Sofascore and the Seller where relevant.


RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

This website is hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit may be shared with Shopify and third parties located in countries other than where you reside.
In certain circumstances, Shopify is an independent data controller responsible for its own processing of your personal information. To learn more and to exercise your rights in relation to Shopify's processing, please visit the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.


THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND LINKS

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of such third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.


CHILDREN'S DATA

This website is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. Neither Sofascore nor the Seller knowingly collects personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact the relevant party using the contact details above and the data will be deleted promptly.


SECURITY

Both Sofascore and the Seller implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no security measure is perfect and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.


INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Personal data may be transferred outside the country in which you reside. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the transferring party relies on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent instruments, unless the transfer is to a country with an adequacy decision.
